In this short video - AUGUST 2025, Rashiwe has waited by the gate at the exit of the footpath up from Brighton - and recorded the last of the Walkers to arrive on the way to the view point behind the Pub at Devil's Dyke.
Any problems the video is also on our ZHRO Flickr Platform .flickr.com/photos/zhro-uk/

IN addition we have been carrying ourt a more established series of regional events re Walk 4 Freedom - thanks to Phylis Magejo, Josephine Jenje-Mudimbu and Dickson Chikwizo, and many more getting involved. Indeed the 2nd Blackburn W4F had over 40 members participate!

W4F BlackburnToday is not just a walk. Today is personal.

We are here because we refuse to stay silent while our country is being changed in ways that do not protect the people. Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 is not just politics—it affects real lives, real futures, and the kind of Zimbabwe we leave behind.

  • How can we accept a law that weakens our courts?
  • How can we accept power being taken away from the people and placed in the hands of a few?
  • That is not democracy. That is not justice.
  • We are here because we love Zimbabwe.

We are here because we believe in a future where the law protects everyone—not just those in power. Some of us left home, but home never left us. And today, even from here, we are saying: enough is enough.

  1. We will not be quiet.
  2. We will not be afraid.
  3. We will stand, we will speak, and we will keep walking

—for freedom, for justice, for Zimbabwe.

Thank you.
