Two dedicated Zimbabwe Charity Members walked over 100 miles to find a suitable route from Brighton Pier to the Zimbabwe Embassy, 429 The Strand, London in 2016. Now in 2017 they want to repeat this endurance test, with a finish at the ZIMFest taking Place at Kempton Park Racecource in South West London

Born out of an idea following the play "After Independence" written by May Sumbwanyambe and to represnt the struggle that Zimbabweans face every day in Zimbabwe - and for those in the Diaspora who are exiled here due to political violence. A long walk home is in mind.

Sponsorships per kilometer will allow support projects in Zimbabwe, and for those within the global diaspora who are in difficulties due to a labarinthyne asylum process, not just in the UK but globally. To help free thinking Zimbabwean who have escaped the repressive Zanu PF regime under Mugabe for the last 37 years [of vote rigging, fraud, corruption and violence] - look forward to the day when they can return to rebuild their impoverished nation [except for the ruling elite].

- the walk represent the struggle to walk back HOME
